Introduction and Precautions of Electric Hammer Drill Bit Ⅰ

1. Introduction to Electric Hammer Drill Bit

Electric hammer is a kind of electric drill, which is mainly used to drill holes in concrete, floor slab, brick wall and stone. It is specialized in drilling holes on the wall, concrete and stone. There is also a multi-functional electric hammer. It can be adjusted to an appropriate position and equipped with an appropriate drill to replace ordinary electric drills and electric pick.

On the basis of the electric drill, the electric hammer adds a piston with a crankshaft connecting rod driven by the motor to compress air back and forth in a cylinder, so that the air pressure in the cylinder changes periodically. The changed air pressure drives the hammer in the cylinder to hit the top of the drill bit back and forth, as if we hit the drill bit with a hammer. Therefore, it is called electric hammer!

As the drill bit of the electric hammer rotates, it also produces a rapid reciprocating motion along the direction of the electric drill rod (frequent impact), so it can quickly punch holes in brittle cement concrete, stone and other materials. The high-grade electric hammer can use the change-over switch to make the drill bit of the electric hammer in different working states, that is, only rotate without impact, only impact without rotation, both impact and rotation.

2. Characteristics of Electric Hammer Bit

1) Good shock absorption system: it can make the operator hold comfortably and relieve fatigue.

2) Accurate speed regulating switch: the speed is low when the switch is touched gently, which can help the machine pulls out smoothly (for example, pulling out on smooth surfaces such as ceramic tiles can not only prevent the drill bit from slipping, but also prevent the drilling hole from cracking). High speed can be used during normal operation to ensure work efficiency.

3) Stable and reliable safety clutch: also known as torque limiting clutch, it avoids the transmission of large torque reaction force caused by the clamping of drill bit to users during use, which is a kind of safety protection for users. This feature also prevents the gear unit and motor from stopping.
