How to Use Percussion Drill

1. Before operation, check whether the power-supply is consistent with the conventional rated 220V voltage on the electric tool, in order to avoid being wrongly connected to the 380V power supply.

2. Before using the percussion drill, please carefully check the insulation protection of the machine body, the adjustment of the auxiliary handle and the depth ruler, and whether the machine has loose screws.

3. The alloy steel drill bit or general drill bit installed in the percussion drill must be within the allowable range of 6-25mm. It is forbidden to use drill bit beyond the range.

4. The conductor of percussion drill shall be well protected. It is strictly prohibited to drag it all over the ground to prevent it from being damaged or cut. It is also prohibited to drag the wire into oil water to prevent oil and water from corroding the wire.

5. The power socket using the percussion drill must be equipped with leakage switch device, and check whether the power line is damaged. In case of leakage, abnormal vibration, high heat or abnormal sound of the percussion drill during use, stop working immediately and find an electrician to check and repair in time.

6. When replacing the drill bit of the percussion drill, the special wrench and the drill bit shall be used to lock the key, and non-special tools shall not be used to knock the percussion drill.

7. When using the percussion drill, remember not to use too much force or skew operation. Be sure to tighten the appropriate drill bit in advance and adjust the percussion drill depth ruler. During vertical and balanced operation, apply force slowly and evenly, and do not force the use of super large drill bit.

8. Master and operate the functions of forward and reverse steering control mechanism, elastic screw and drilling and tapping.
