Prevention of Saw Blades from Rusting

1. Prevention of saw blade from rusting

If the saw blade is not in use, it should be placed in a ventilated and dry place. The packaging should not be damaged. It is best to store the saw blade on a wooden shelf.

The factors leading to the rusting of the saw blade are generally: the package is damaged and the place where it is placed is relatively humid. Therefore, it is easy to produce water mist and contact with the saw blade from the damaged inlet, then causing oxidation.

It may also be that in the place where the saw blade is stored, liquid seeps into the saw blade package, causing oxidation and then rust.

Therefore, when we do not use the saw blade, we must pay attention to the placement position and adhere to ventilation and drying. This can effectively reduce the rust problem of the saw blade.

2. Control quality when selecting saw blade

In order to prevent the occurrence of rust, the problem should be solved at the source. 100% native materials should be selected, with sharp serrations, hard and wear resistance, excellent heat dissipation and longer service life. It is useful to save the processing cost of the wood mill.

3. How to deal with rusty saw blade

Assuming that the rusty part is in the saw tooth direction, it will be a little troublesome. In this case, the diamond grinding wheel must be used for treatment. Because the saw tooth is the most sensitive part of the saw blade, once the treatment is improper, it will seriously affect the application of the saw blade and may cause the saw blade to be scrapped.
